SYNOPSIS
Ghost trucks cross the screen, we see them moving like specters of light overhead. Infrared images of the Calais Jungle, where refugees wait in the hope of one day reaching the UK, via the Eurotunnel. Fajara is the Arabic word for explosion. Here, in the Jungle, it is the word you shout when you cross to the other side, when you arrive. Images become abstract, semantics dissolve. A film on the hunt for the metaphysics of meaning (of words).
